Smart Tire Care Tips

Follow these maintenance tips to ensure your vehicle’s longevity, performance, and safety on the road. Tires are so very important to your vehicle. Regular care and attention will pay off in the long run.

  1. Monitor Tire Pressure: Check tire pressure monthly, especially before long trips, to ensure optimal performance and fuel efficiency.
  2. Tire Tread Inspection: Use a penny to check tire tread depth; if you can see the top of Lincoln’s head, it’s time for new tires.
  3. Cold Tire Pressure Check: Check tire pressure when tires are cold, before driving, for accurate readings.
  4. Rotation and Alignment: Rotate tires every 5,000 miles and align them regularly to prevent uneven wear and ensure smooth driving. This is a rule of thumb, and it depends on your driving and quality of tires on the car.
  5. Watch for Warning Signs: Look out for signs of imbalances or misalignments, such as steering wheel shakes or uneven tire wear, and address them promptly.
  6. Hydroplaning Prevention: Prioritize changing rear tires before front tires to prevent hydroplaning on wet pavement, as rear tires provide more grip.

Tips for writing best reviews

Share Your Voice

DriversAutoKnow.com is intentionally an inclusive review site, especially for those who are under-acknowledged. All voices matter in assisting and empowering others to make smart decisions on where to get their vehicle service.

Be Genuine

Honesty is the best policy. Be authentic and polite in describing what worked, or perhaps, what didn’t. No coarse language.

Be Specific

“Joe is great” doesn’t provide detail to the experience. What was your visit like? What happened? Mention the name of the individual who helped you, of course. How did they assist? What was the interaction like?

Stay on Point

Reviews only need to be a few sentences. There is no need to exaggerate or get too lengthy. Less is more.

Be Thoughtful

Give it a once over for context and content. You can always edit your review. Proofreading is a good idea.

Be Respectful

We all want to be treated with respect. You are encouraged to share your experience in a courteous manner. No coarse language.
